About ANA

Association of Nagaland Architects (ANA) is a body that aims to promote, spread awareness and bring about reformation in the practice of Architecture in Nagaland. It strives to foster professional excellence and ethical standards among its members while safeguarding their welfare and interests. ANA advocates for practices that contribute towards a resilient and sustainable built environment.

ANA had its genesis in the year 2000 when a small group of registered architects came together to share common concerns and challenges faced in their professional practice. With a common shared vision, one of the earliest initiatives of ANA was voicing the ardent need for development controls and building bye-laws in the state. The Association was led by Lt. Ar. Kedayhu Kent as the first president and Ar. Chenithung as the vice- President. Since then, ANA has grown to more than 120 registered architect members serving in different capacities as policy makers, government employees, private practitioners and entrepreneurs.
